Welsh Bicknor has been booked for the Easter weekend. Last year this was an amazing weekend with great weather and great paddling.
The campsite itself is on the banks of the river Wye nearly at the Symonds Yat rapids. We will be doing paddling* and possibly some walking on the River Wye Walk.
Watch this space for a booking form, poster and dates.

- We are a small recently formed club that focuses on kayaking, canoeing and other sports. We have monthly Pool Sessions where we practise (for more information contact the Leam Boat Centre) and we use our new canoe polo equipment. We have organised several trips in 2007 including Welsh Bicknor and to the Ardeche in France.

Ha Ha! Great, another chance to eat 3 meals a time and break the ice on the water jug in the morning! Cant wait, as long as there is not too much rain. See you all there.
Could be the return of the mega hot cross boulders, plenty roughage apparantly!!
Oy!!! The hot cross buns will be light and fluffy this year!
So light and fluffy hot cross buns, how do you do that? Helium filled currents and then little fur jackets to make them fluffy?
Well at least we will have Katherine’s cooking to fall back on!!
Another ‘stray thought’. Are we going to take any means of cutting wood for the evening fires this year? Or is it going to be half trees as last time?
Most Definitely! Also i will get a new recipe foor the hot cross buns!
I found this recipe on the web for you:
1 part cement, 1 part sand, and 1 part crushed stone to 24 parts water.
